Revit 2018 railing issue

hello, I have a file created in Revit 2014 and upgraded to Revit 2018. I'm trying to use split elements to add railing baluster, but my profile RC beam is also cut/split. Any reason why or in Revit 2018 I need to split them separately? it's new to me. Please see screencast below. thanks

Is anyone experienced this issue? Is this a bug? If I'm going to solve this by creating two types of railing one is a handrail and another one is rc kerb/beam, then it will be a lot of work and waste a lot of time, it's a double work? This is not happening in the previous version of Revit. Any thoughts? Thanks

I found a solution? You have to separate your railing and your profile kerb/beam so that you don't have a cut line in your profile kerb/beam. To me this is not a advisable solution. This issue was not happening in Revit 2014 to 2017. This could be a bug? AUTODESK please advise. Thanks

I guess they "improved" the non continuous railing to actually being non continuous (having split lines).  Why not using stair stringers?

@ToanDN Thank you idol for your reply, if I use stringer, it is difficult to control/manipulate? I really don't understand why Autodesk removed those railing/kerb split elements (mentioned above in my post) which most user's used to it from Revit 2014 to 2017. Thanks

Yeah fixing things nobody asked for is not unheard of haha...

If you want to keep it as a rail then use a handrail with the beam profile.  You will have to offset the profile family because handrails cannot be lower than the host.

@ToanDN That I what I did in my posted above, the only issue I have with Revit 2018 is that when you use split elements the cut lines will appear in your handrail and beam which is not happening in previous version of Revit. Thanks

No I meant as a Handrail, not a rail.  They are different and Handrail (and Top Rail) will not be splitted when you split the sketch path of the railing.

@ToanDN  Hello, just to check with you, do you still have this file (see below)? Can you go to your plan view if you can see if there are extra lines of the railing? Just want to know if my suspicion is correct? It looks like this method won't work. Don't worry, I already solve this issue. Thanks
