Revit 2018 Project Address Title Block Issue

I am having an issue similar to Revit 2017 on the project address located on the title block. I am not able to edit the project address. Has there been an update to fix this like 2017? or will I just have to create my own parameter to go around this issue?

Project Address? As in parameter value?

hello from Spain

Be sure that the project address text you see in your title block comes from the adress project parameter.

If this text has been created in your title blcok family as a "static" text not as a "tag" that references to the "adress" project parameter then you are not able to modify it.

Edit your title block family and check it.

Look under Project Information

Manage>>Project Information

Whatever you enter under Project Address is what will show up on the titleblock. Also make sure that you have used the parameter that comes with Sheets to access this information, and that this parameter is correctly associated with Sheets in the Project.

Thanks for the response but i've been using the same title block since Revit 2014 until Revit 2017 changed the text format. My project address parameter is set to the standard project address settings as below.Capture.JPG

But for some reason I can not edit it. Maybe i just have to reinstall revit 2018. If you all are not having the same issue i could be my install. Thanks again!

Thank you, now i know it is most likely my Revit 2018 install. I still can not edit the address, even from the one you returned. But before i reinstall, do you know if there has been any updates? I have tried looking at service packages for 2018 but there seems to be none. I was hoping it was an easy service package install fix like revit 2017.

Did you click on the button that I have highlighted here? That will take you to the address editor.

Wow, its interesting how things get change. It worked! Awesome. You are the best rsahayUZMK9! I did not think you could edit the address thought there. It used to be much easier to change it. Thanks again! 😄

Before you go and reinstall, can you verify that the parameter being used for "Address" under the Project Information in actually Revit's "Project Address" and not some duplicate "Project Address" created. I've seen a lot of messes created by custom Project Parameters being named the exact same name as a Revit parameter.

Too late, @barthbradley. The OP has been spared the agony of overthinking the problem.....
