Revit 2018 doesn't find mapped drives

Hi,

I've just installed version 2018.1 however none of the file dialogue boxes (open, file locations etc) show my mapped network drives although I can navigate the long way to network locations. All my other software incIuding ACAD, 3d Max and Revit 2016 have no problems finding the drives.

I have tried the solution of running as admin off (and on) without success.

Any help would be appreciated,

Robert

Go into Options. You should be able to set Places for your dialog boxes to map to.

File>>Options>>File Locations>>Places

Just leaving a message to say the "accepted solution" above was not accepted my me, it doesn't address the problem because as I stated in my post the network drives were not appearing in the file location dialogue.

I had to uninstall and reinstall the product.

I have the same problem, and know what you mean [the answers dont address the problem, so I understand the frustration with them marking it "solved"]

As we have our company set up, our personal computers have a c: drive...

Then we have multiple other drives with projects, B: drive, S: drive, etc.

When I installed Revit 2018, it can only "see" the c: drive, not the other drives we have set up...

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System

EnableLinkedConnections        create key or set value to 1.

Confirmed (by me) fix in 2018.
