Revit 2018 Corrupt Model Synchronising Issues

Hi

We are having problems with our revit file where we are unable to synchronise the file. We can open the file, but when we try to synchronise we get the following error message:

'An unrecoverable error has occurred, the program will now be terminated.'

We have tried opening the model, or a separate local file, with the audit option ticked to attempt to repair the model, but are unable to do this and get the following error:

'the model is missing many elements, and it cannot be opened.'

We have also tried to save out a local file and work in a single local file, but when we do this we receive an error message as below when we try to save the file:

'a fatal error has occurred.. the application will be terminated.'

I imagine the model is corrupt, but even going back to previous back up models we are unable to audit the model or repair the central model to ensure that the issue is resolved and will not happen again.

Could you please advise on how to resolve this?

Thanks

Contact Autodesk directly. They have tools not available to the general public that might be able to fix it for you.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.
