Revit 2017 Text bug

I have been experiencing a strange text bug in the latest version.

To recreate:

Double click an existing text box.

Select a section of text from right to left (push and hold mouse button and move curser from right to left).

Release your mouse button once the cursor is outside of the text box border.

Type some text.

You will notice that no text is entered into the text box.

In order for text to show up in the text box you must release the mouse button and then move the mouse cursor and then type.

This is annoying more than anything. You select the text to replace, start to type and then realise nothing is happening.

Please fix.

Hi BrendanLaurence,

I replicated your method but can't recreate the issue. See the screencast attached.

Did you find a fix?

Thanks for your reply.

No I haven't found a fix for it yet. I thought it could be a mouse/keyboard driver issue but I have tried it on different workstations with different mice etc and it still happens.

It may also be related to our graphics card. We are running Gforce cards so it could be a driver issue.

I just haven't gotten around to testing that option yet. What card are you running?

I will keep checking, I would like to know if anyone else is having this issue though.

Thanks again.
