Revit 2017, Student version doesn’t start

I’ve been using this version of Revit for practically a year now and out of the blue it doesn’t start any more.

While initiating the program no warning signs appear. I only see the typical “gray and blue revit window” that indicates that the program is loading, and then nothing…

I don’t want to reinstall it either because I’m afraid that Autodesk will assume that I’m using it on a second computer.

Thanks a lot

Something happened in between (e.g. crash, updates)?

You could try to go to control panel and then do a  repair/reinstall of Revit.

You also might try to go to an earlier restore point.

Even reinstalling Revit could work. IF you get complains about using it on a second computer you could contact Autodesk (through support ticket in your Autodesk account) and ask for assistance in that matter.

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

Hi, thanks for your reply.

I've tried everything but it didn't help. What should I do?

Hi,

Thank you for taking your time to post this on the forum,

I'm assuming you are using a stand alone license, I would recommend you to go through the steps in the article below:

It might be about AutoCAD but it does not matter,

Let me know how things progress,
