Revit 2017 Model Upgrade

Hi guys, I have recently upgraded to Revit 2017. I am opening a Revit 2015 file, it upgrades it, i then save it. When i go to re-open it, the upgrading process happens again. Anyone come across this?

If you are talking about projects it might be that it contains linked files. The linked files will be temporarily upgraded. When you save the project only the main project will be saved. The linked files will not be saved and thus loose the upgrade. You will have to load the linked file separately to get them upgraded

Thank you for your reply. So if i had 100 linked files, i'd need to open them up individually and upgrade each one?
