@Anonymous hello, have you try to tick audit before opening the file and untick use hardware acceleration from options > graphics and see if helps. try to install latest updates from autodesk. thanks

Have you got any files linked into your file ? Are you loading via internal network ?

Revit add-ins: CAD Purger (delete UNUSED and selected line patterns & line styles, find and delete CAD), Rooms To Spaces, Schedule Utilities (Calculated Values/Combined Parameters To Tags, reuse view filter rules in schedule filters), View Filter Manager at Revit Apps Store

yeah, it have quite lot of link into my archi & structure file. main link is from level04 to 44th storey then the rest of the link is typical unit and PBU toilet layout. rought might link to 15+20 link for superimpose.

i have checked with other subcon who open the same system is quite fast even in lower spect of computer system. this make me have a lot of ?????. and yes, we are loading internal network.

Revit add-ins: Purger (unused line patterns & line styles, find and delete CAD), Rooms To Spaces, Schedule Utilities (Calculated Values/Combined Parameters To Tags), View Filter Manager at Revit Apps Store

going to try this by tomorrow.

thanks.

Hi @Anonymous

Please send us a Revit Journal file to troubleshoot.

There could be several Possible causes for slow performance in Revit ranging from graphic cards to memory to multiple model elements.

Please try the following:

  1. Check graphic card requirements and update driver from manufacturer website
  2. Please purge unused items
  3. Group the lights by room in your project and only leave on the group in the view you are working on.
  4. Make sure the machine meets minimum requirements
  5. Dock Project Browser and Properties Pallete
  6. Make sure the project is at least 20 times smaller than the memory
  7. Disable second monitor if using
  8. Set the resolution of the monitor to 100%DPI
  9. Install all the latest updates

For more information on recommendations to improve slow performance please see HERE
