Revit 2017 crashes when opening second project or family in the same session

Hey all,

I've been having this problem for a while now that Revit 2017 crashes when I try to open another project or edit a family in the same session. No idea what the problem could be. I just recently updated to 2017.2 thinking it would fix the problem but it hasn't.

Has anyone else had this issue??

@Anonymous hello, do you have enough harddisk space? try to update your graphics card driver and try to install latest updates from microsoft. and see if can help.

Or you can try to check it here, maybe could help you then. <<Click HERE>>

Thanks

Thank you for your posting @ennujozlagam

It's worth to check if this is coming from any addins. Please try to unload all addins and see if this helps:

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/revit-products/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles...

Also you could submit your CER report. If this is a known issue, you will receive an email with the fix.

If this still persists after all of this, please upload or send me the sample journal files.
