Revit 2017 bug with linked files

 I've found a new pesky error when working with linked files.  When I select a link and accidentally hit create similar, it locked up and shut down revit.  Anyone else find this?

Sounds like expected behavior, as creating similar Links is not a good idea!

What's the expected behavior when using create similar on a link?  

 

It seems not everyone is getting a full crash, what's anyone getting as a result instead?  Does it do nothing?  Does it start an import?
