Revit 2016 View Range Sample

Why is the same view range sample shown for floor plans and for RCP's.   Come on Autodesk, these are not the same!

It's little things like this that causes users to question management.   A new tool and nobody checks it out.

In Revit help at this link I found a view range sample for floor plans and the following line for ceilings; Display of elements in reflected ceiling plan (RCP) views is similar to their display in plan views, with the exception that elements are presented as viewed from below and mirrored.

I think this and the other information covers View Ranges very nicely, however, I guess a mirrored image could be added. Perhaps if someone from Autodesk is reading this they can pass it along to the correct team and update the page.

Cheers..........

I fully understand view ranges but this added feature was to help people that don't understand.  As such, it doesn't work and neither does the help that you point to.  A much better explanation is in the attached that was posted some time ago elsewhere.

The point here is who is paying attention?  This could have been a good help for this hard to understand concept if it was properly carried out.
