Revit 2016 on Windows 2016 (bootcamp), Establish internet connection to continue

Hello!  I have gone through existing support articles and am hitting a wall.

I went through all the suggestions here

http://blogs.rand.com/support/2015/03/activation-issues-establish-an-internet-connection-to-continue...

-There is no hotfix available for 2016 so the 2015/2014 hotfixes do not apply.

1.  I set my UAC to never notify.

2. I added autodesk to my trusted sites

3. I set my internet security options to medium

4. I unchecked "turn on pop-up blocker"

5. I updated LAN settings

I'm just setting up bootcamp and haven't installed any antivirus software.  I also tried turning off windows firewall.

I renamed the ADUT folder

I followed directions for the telnet client and tried ran as administrator.

Still getting the same message, any ideas?

I'm also waiting for this one.

It looks like I'm going to have to redraw a whole file in Revit LT 2015.

After wasting many, many hours on this issue (i reinstalled bootcamp, reinstalled revit 3 times, installed Revit on my home computer that is a PC and still got license error messages), I FINALLY got an autodesk technician on the phone and they did a manual activation (the old school way, you deactivate your internet connection, put in your serial, get a request for an activation code that the technician provided) and now it works.

Thanks mmiller!

I don't think I paid the extra money to have the privilege of using a phone for tech support whenever I want (what a strange thing to say), so I'll have to see if I can be home at the same time as my scheduled call. Hopefully I can convince them to try this!
