When Revit crashes and we are prompted to save a recovery model, it is not saving any changes and work is being lost. Date and time stamp are showing as current.
How can we be ensure that work is not lost and saving is in fact occuring?

It is my experience that save reminders don't show up when the user is saving on their own (not waiting for the reminder). If your users are saving on a regular basis, they should have a choice of incremental saves to open upon a crash. Are those files more current than the recovery file?
How often are you crashing? Have you purged and audited the problem projects?
