rendering

I can't see the colors I made in my drawing because it goes back to the original material.  Plus when it renders it's far out because I made a floor instead of a topography and I stretched it out far beyond the deck so I wouldn't see blank areas when viewing in 3d.

Accepted solution

@Anonymous First, you can zoom in before rendering...Suggest a Camera view vs a 3D view.

Second, your lumber, while it does have the material "Softwood" assigned to it, Softwood does not have a wood appearance applied to it.  Currently it is set to Generic so it will appear Gray when rendered.  Try changing all your beams to Softwood, Lumber....that does have an image applied to the material and will appear correctly when rendered.

Even your Pool Water material is set to Generic.  Click the Replace Asset in the Appearance Settings and select the proper Physical Asset.

Thanks a lot MP. I was told by one of the other mentors to make a new material and call it softwood for some reason I forget.

OMG!!  Why are you using so many levels???!!!!

Your view range and floor plans must be a PITA!!

Thought we discussed levels in the past?

LOL....39 Levels for something that is only 7' tall.
