Rendering with grey patches on the texture

Hello,

I am having an issue with rendering. I keep getting these grey patches on the desk front. I have re-modeled it, changed the material, created a new material, updated my graphics card, rendered in the cloud, restarted my computer, and nothing helped. I am using Revit 2022.

What about more Rendering Time?  Does it improve?

Also, screenshot us your Rendering Settings.

I haven't tried rendering to the maximum. I will try that overnight as it
takes forever.

If that's maximum, then forget about time.  Try another Material. Use one of the PBR Assets.

I have tried multiple materials including the standard Revit ones.

Could be any number of things.  Post the file. Lets take a look at it.  Tell us what version of Revit you are using too.

Check overlapping geometry.

You didn't by any chance model thin wood veneer?  That would explain it.

Increase the veneer's thickness, or get rid of it and instead paint the surface that the veneer is on top of with the veneer's material.

I notice if you have wood veneer thickness of 1/16" or 1.5mm and surface is curve, you will encounter these overlapping material. So try to make the whole material the same or you make the wood veneer thicker than 1/16" (1.5mm).
