Alright, I'm using Revit 2017 and have done EVERYTHING on the list that Autodesk posted as the problem-fixing steps. None worked. As soon as I switched my background from "Transparent" to anything else, IT WORKED. Major bug - fix this Autodesk please!

I had the same problem, but I realize that it's because I chose to put my sky transparent in my rendering settings. When I change it back to a normal sky it was working again.

Hi,

I am using Revit 2017 to render a view on the cloud. The view was working but then I made a few minor changes in the model and tried to render it again and it started giving me the error code - 1 saying the file could not be translated. What does that mean? it was working just fine a few minutes ago. Please let me know if you have any suggestions on what I should do..

Thank you!

This is my version of Revit 17.0.1081.0 20161006_0315(x64) 2017.1 and I can confirm that this bug still persists. Changing the background option from None to anything else in Render settings, allows the cloud render to proceed. This is really annoying as it adds another step to my visualisation workflow forcing me to manually remove the background from each image I render.

This just started happening to me.  I've been running cloud renders all weekend on two different views in the same model.  Now all of a sudden my one view returns this error.  Very frustrating, as nothing major has changed in my model... just testing different lighting locations (no new fixtures)  Both views are of a 2 story lobby of a building, from different perspectives.
