Rename or Add Area Type

Hi,

I have created new Colour Scheme Category.

When defining the scheme, by type of area, I cannot change the name value or add another one nor delete. 

Any help?

Value in the first tab cannot be changed not even I cant add any others.

If it is the room name you are trying to edit, you can do it in the plan view.

To add more rooms to the list, you can add more rooms in the plan view. (using room tool)

You should also be able to add more rooms to the list using the + icon (then tag new rooms)

I am working with Area - not rooms.

Attached is another screenshot, sorry for that Revit language, but there is Area Type (office, flat..) .

I want to rename this category, because each of it has a different colour in Colour Schemes. But I canntot add to this categories my own, dont know why.

This works for me okay - but it is a room.

I want to use and edit this in area - but it does not work.

Change to what you want

ROOMS vs AREAS.

I need this setup as you wrote to me do for AREAS - not ROOMS (first image), because I am counting floor of the flats not single rooms.

In Scheme definion I want to have selected not Color - but Area Type.

But I cannot add or rename or whatever with that category (second image).

This does not add another option as in Rooms.

OK now I see what you want.

You need to add "areas" either in the plan view or 

in "edit scheme" change the colour to NAME and add new areas by name.

The new areas will need naming by selecting the area and in properties select the new area name from the dropdown.

this works and in the end i added my own parameter.

Area Type are hard-coded, cannot be modified. You just need to use another parameter such as Name or Comments.
