Imagine you nest a door panel in a door family control its opening angle. Right now, it's a pain with a combination of reference line and reference plane(s) to make it work. And sometime it still breaks especially at 0, 90, 180 angles. Compare it to an actual door and you can see if we had reference point acting as a pivot, the task would be so much easier.
Dimension witness: this is inspired by another user's request to dimensions to the midpoint of a line. Such simple task needing workaround is ridiculous. A reference point would make it painless.
