Hi,
I have already set true north to my project. However, it is slightly off balance, about 1 degree. When I try to correct this from manage->position, it gives me 131 errors ![]()
So here are my questions
-Why does only one linked dwg file rotate? What setting I have that´s not correct?
-Why does this rotating delete all my extrusions?
-Is there something that I should do before setting true north the second time?
My model was created fully already when I first did the true north move. I do not remember getting any errors when doing it the first time.

Are you Rotating Project North or Rotating a View to True North. The fact that this rotating deletes your extrusions tells me you are doing neither. Are you, by chance, using the Rotate tool on the Modify Tab. That would explain a lot -- and everything you are experiencing. Do you have a backup of the Project before you rotated it?
Hi...
Project north is used to align the building with the sheet.. so that its convenient to read the drawings..
This Project north settings are done in the beginning of the project... if its not done correctly then it will affect the entire project and there is no fix as such...
Ideally Correct the project north, and whichever elements, 2D gets affected, need a fix as well... there is no shortcut
to fix all this automatically...
Here are the consequences of rotating north
1. Rotating Project north - This will affect all 2D elements, and mess up the entire project
2. Rotating True north - This wont affect 2D or 3D.. but this may not fix the orientation of the building for the sheet.
If you don't want to rotate or fix the Project north cause its too late to do so, then workaround is to
" Rotate Crop Region " by 1 degree ( as per your requirement ) to get the orientation on sheet right.
Real late response but yeah, I don´t know what I was thinking using project north to correct my true north allignment. Using true north worked, using project north did not.
And yes I was using the correct rotating tools, not using just the basic rotate from modify tab.
