Reassign Area Schedule

I have an Area schedule based on Area Plan 1. Can I reassign it to Area Plan 2, or do I need to create a new schedule for the 2nd one?

Different Area schemes need different Area schedules.

How can you confirm which area schedule is getting its data from? I have some areas if my schedule that I cannot find on any area plan.

Sorry, but if I don't work on area plans and schedules for a few weeks my mind goes blank.

Normally the Area schedule is named after the Area scheme.  If you already renamed it then open the schedule, select a row, highlight in model and let Revit find the Area plan of that Area scheme.

Any ideas how I can find an errant line on the schedule showing an area that doesn't appear on the plan? I've tried it selecting it and the clicking 'Highlight in Model' but is says 'No good view could be found'.

Does it so an actual square footage?  If not, then the Area has been delete from the Area plan, just delete the row from the schedule.

It shows a square footage, so it's hidden somewhere. I'll keep looking, Thank you!

Recreate all Area plans of that scheme for all levels then you will find it.
