Randomize Color Schemes (HVAC Zones)

Does anyone know a way to randomize colors for the color schemes? Like maybe an app/tool? I have noticed this several times in my projects that after a certain number of zones modeled, Revit will default to a purple color

what version and all updates applied?

After how many zones does it change assigning different colors? i never saw that, but also don't have os many zones.

Does that happen with other color schemes as well?

After about 100+ plus zones. And this was a common theme in Revit 2021,2022,2023. I did not use zones prior to Revit 2021 but I bet it would be common also.

So what are you on now and are all updates applied?

They changed to the softer colors a few versions ago. Maybe that is when it went off the rails.

Do you have the same issue with other color-legend items (spaces etc.)?

I stopped using Revit HVAC zones (I use the Ripple HVAC tool, and that rightfully uses space parameters for zones). if HVAC-zones is the only issue, you may consider doing the same (and try the tool, it is free and great)
