Railing Linework on plan

Is there a way in Revit to show railings on plan with a different linework?

I have a cable rail that I use for a project. On plan it looks okay because that's how you actually see it. But what I want to do is change how the linework looks on plan. I want to make it simple with Wide lines (probably with lineweight 6 or 😎 and a "CR" text. ---CR---CR---CR---

I created a detail component that can do that but a detail component is a 2D element. I want to utilize the 3D element of the railing.

A quick solution that I found is just overlapping the detail component of ---CR---CR---CR--- with where the railing is located on plan. I want to make the ---CR---CR---CR--- incorporated with the railing model to make the annotation smart and not having to draw extra 2D linework.

What about a Line-Based/Array Family?

That's how I did my ---CR---CR---CR--- Family. I was wondering if there's a way I can bake that in together with the Railings. As I model the railings, on plan, it shows the ---CR---CR---CR--- but (for example) in section/elevation, it shows the actual model of the railing without the detail item linework.

You can bake it in baluster /baluster panel families.

Not a Rail. Rails are extrusions created from Profiles. I was thinking Balusters as well, but you really couldn't get the Line work right.  You could "bake" in the Annotation though.   Still, I don't think it would work to well.

I see. This is how it looks like now. I have the Railing as a separate element and the detail item (--CR--CR-- linework) as another separate element. I just moved the linework to show that there's a railing underneath.

The next image shows how its represented on plan. I wish there was a way to include the detail item as part of the railing so that I don't have to annotate the --CR--CR-- linework as a separate element since its included with the railing already.
