Rafter Visibility in Section

Hi,

When I do a section cut I am not seeing the roof rafter that I modelled.  The ones that are cut are seen but not those that are in the foreground.

Turn the Category on. Looks like Structural Trusses and/or Structural Framing. Am I right? Or change the Discipline of the View to Structural.

Next time you can't find something in the View that you know should be there, go through this list:

While this option reveals the rafter it also poses another challenge because all the architectural element that I want are now gone when I change the discipline to structural.

Go to Plan A then. Turn on the Categories.

Are you talking about Section 3? Turn your Roof Category off.  The rafters are buried inside the Roof.

...or add a transparency to the roof, or create another roof type for the build-up layers above the rafters and use the one in lieu of the one you have for those Views where you want to show the rafters under the build-up.
