R2015 not reloading latest on open?

Issue exists on multiple pc's on our network.  When workshared files are opened using Revit 2015 (users are opening their local files) the program does not display the latest saved version of the Central file.  Instead RL must be used to force an update.

Is this a new "feature" that is by design, and if so may we automate the practice?  I can see argument for both options but am not sure if we have a glitch.

Hello!

When one user synchronizes, it doesn't automatically update the others local files.

What you would have to do is to synchronize your existing local.

The synchronize process involves the following steps:

1. Save the local file (STL)
2. Download the latest version of the file from the server (RL)
3. Propagate the changes to elements in the local model (i.e. update the model with the changes) (DP)
4. Save the local file again (STL)
5. Upload the updated model to the server (STC)
