I know that there are 3 choices to print from Current Window, Visible Portion of current window and Selected views/sheets.  the closest option is the visible portion...

there is no other way to print visible by 'windowing' around the area needed?

Not in the same way as Autocad....you have to unmaximize your window and adjust the window to what you want to see.  Then print "Visible Portion of Current Window".

Keep in mind, depending on your view scale and the paper size you may either get more than what is in the window or less unless you print Scale to fit.

Hi @arkitek2ss

This will be a great idea for the ideas forum.

I always wanted this feature myself during my BIM Coordination days and frantic printing deadlines.

Please post the idea at your convenience and share the link here.

Regards,

Temporary crop the view, print Current window, Zoom Fit to page, Offset from corner > Printer limit (do NOT use Center because it will give you a huge margin).
