a week ago or two our office upgraded to Revit 2017.1.1 and since then two different teams (different models) have gotten the message that there are too many missing elements and the file is corrupt and cannot be opened. it seems as though this didn't start happening until we upgraded to Revit 2017.1.1.
Has anyone else run into this issue?
Hello,
That's a very common issue, sadly enough it's not just one thing you can point at to be the issue. But there are some solutions you may want to try.
Like trying the (1) audit mode, using a older (2) back-up file or follow the steps in (3) THIS LINK, these are the easiest ways to solve this issue (also see this link).
If these didn't help you can try the solutions posted in similar issues posted on the forum:

I am sad to say that those options you suggested haven't worked. just about a half hour ago we experienced the same issue.
Sad to hear, is there a way you can send me the Revit file that you occour the issue with? That way I can have a closer look at it.
If so, can you post the wetransfer/download link in a reply?
