I have been making voids on a generic sweep. But suddently an error message "There is a circular chain of references among the highlighted elements." appeared, and I can no longer carry on. I have created many same voids alreay, but do know what triggered this error, and I can no longer do it again. Thanks.

Hi,
Don't have Revit 2021 installed on current system so I can't inspect the model.
Mostly the message indicates that constraints can't determine the order of execution, like Value1 changes then Value2 changes, but if Value2 changes also Value1 has to change....mostly happens when locking geometry to other geometry.....
Does the message indicate (Expand button) which element is the issue...or try removing constraints untill error no longer appears..
Also, The 'Generic sweep'; is it modelled as in-place? or a Wall sweep....
Suggest making the openings with a Wall based void and a Wall sweep as covering; the openings would then automatically appear in the sweep. See sample (Revit 2020)

I'm unable to replicate the error. See attached 2021 RVT.
I can open your model, but when I began to create more voids, the message appeared again...
I thought I added the remaining embrasures. But, like I said, I cannot replicate your issue. Can you post a short Screencast?
I see. Try this.
Select the portion of the wall that I am showing highlighted in this screenshot and Cut to Clipboard, and then Paste it back into the Project via Paste Aligned to Same Place.
Afterward, try adding your voids again. Should go smoothly now. It did for me.
by cutting / pasting it probably took away all constraints that were intentionally or unintentionally attached to it.
