"move" Building pads from one toposurface to "another"

Hello, I was wondering how could I solve this:
1.- I modeled a toposurface from a CAD file, no big deal. Let say this is my "Orginal" Surface.

2.- I make a copy of it and by default Revit set my Original surface to existing phase (In red on the image).

3.- Then I started working on the "new" toposurface (in Brown). I createded some Building Slabs that are "attached" to the brown surface. Meaning that if I delete the brown surface mi pads will dissapear or be deleted.

Question: How can I move those pads to the Red surface, the one I originally created? and then delete the brown one without losing the pads.duda.png

Select the pads, copy to clipboard, change the view to existing phase, paste aligned.

just one more question. Once I do that you told me, how do I "revert" the red overide on my original toposurface so it´s brown again, like the way it was originally modeled.

If you manually override it to red then Select it > right click > override graphics in view > reset.

No, it was by default made by Revit when creating a copy of it using the commands.
But I figured out, and it was the issue of the phases
Thanks anyway

Yes. if you create the new topo using Graded Region tool on the existing topo then the existing topo is actually demolished and shown with the red demolition material.
