"Installation complete. Some products failed to install."???

All I know is that I tried to install Revit, and once it completed, "Some products failed to Install".

I have read some of the other Forums and I don't know where to find my "installation log file in your %TEMP% location shows an entry similar to the following: Install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable (x86) Failed Installation aborted, Result=1603"

I went into my Programs and Features and saw "Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable (x86)" but I am really just not sure what to do next, I don't want to uninstall or delete something I'm not supposed to.

I am just a student trying to get a 30 day trial of Revit on my new DELL for class.. Help me please!

Your log files are in the %Temp% Folder. This %Temp% is a windows variable. When you enter this in windows explorer it will resolve to your temp folder.

In this temp folder you will find your log files Depending on what you have isntalled something like "Autodesk Revit 2016 Install.log" and maybe several similar others.

You can look throught this log file and see if you notice specific errors, usually near the end of the log file.

If it is indeed an error 1603 look at THIS page on the Autodesk Knowledge website.

Looking through my %TEMP% files I have log files for:
Autodesk BIM 360 Add-in for Revit...
Autodesk Revit 2015 Install (en-us)
Autodesk Revit Install
Autodesk Revit 2015 Setup
Autodesk Revit Content Libraries 2015...
Autodesk-WebInstall3StubGUI...

I looked a bit through the Install (en-us), Install, and Setup for the "Install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable (x86) Failed Installation aborted, Result=1603" and the only thing that I found close was:

"Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable (x64)Failed Installation aborted, Result=1619
Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable (x86) Failed Installation aborted, Result=1619"

and all of various years, not all 2012
