Question about the Split command

Hello,

In Revit LT, I have made a wall and I have tried to use the SPLIT command button (see screenshot), but I don't succeed to set the distance indicated by the Split command. By example, how to enter 3.07 m (instead of 3.30 m in the screenshot) ?

What do you mean set the distance? Is this the regular split tool or split with gap?

Also, please stop starting new threads with incredibly similar topics. This seems to be a bad habit of yours. This could all be a singular thread about using the split tool.

The distance shown while Split Element is active is only a cursor readout, not an editable field. Place a reference plane 3.07 m from the wall end using a dimension, then run Split Element and snap to that plane. Hope this helps. If it solves the issue, you’re welcome to mark it as a solution so others can find it more easily.
