Property line of linked file shown as thin no matter what, how to make it thick?

This is how property line looks in "Site" file, thick and red:

This is how it looks in "Plumbing" file while I have the link selected, the "Site" is linked into this one. Looks as it should.

But this is how it looks unselected, thin and can't get it to show thick.

Style is set as it should be in object styles, there are no overrides in VG, link is set to by host.

LOL, no, obviously turning thin lines on/off isn't the issue.
