Property line bearings

Hi All, I would be forever grateful if someone could help me understand how to model this property line using the survey coordinates, the surveyor that has supplied this CAD file has not shown the N/E or SW on the bearings, therefore I am completely confused about how this needs to be done. I keep getting error messages when I even attempt to add the first coordinate

@ennujozlagam, thank you for sharing the link.

I have watched the YouTube video and understand how to set it up, however, the angles in the bearings in my survey extend beyond 90deg which causes the errors.

It would be helpful if someone recorded a video showing why and how I overcame this if that is not too much trouble.

the other option is plot first your property line bearings in autocad and link cad to revit and create by sketching?

what version of revit do you have now?

I am using the latest Revit v2024.2.

@ennujozlagam, this is what I am talking about. If I scale one side of the boundary line, then all the others do not measure correctly. That's why I was trying to model the property line using the create bearing option.

sometimes you dont get exact length? because of the bearings input?

@ennujozlagam thank you for doing that, my only dilemma now is, that the "property tag" information is vastly different to the survey data?

And the million dollar question is, how did you manage to generate those lines with the information I've included in my original post? I would love to know how to generate that for future surveys too 😊

in autocad set your DDUNITS to METER, Command: POLYLINE
PLINE

then next bearing...
