I found this app which I think is going to be extremally useful to be, but looks like the developer has disappeared as the email and website no longer work.
What I want to know (and is probably illegal) is how would one update the program themselves to make it compatible with Revit 2024?
Or is this a lost cause?

Thanks
You would have to first know what programing language it was written in, then have the decompiler for it, then be fluent in the programing language and lastly know what to update to make it compatible with 2024.
that is way out of my comfort range... Good Luck
(i mean that sincerely

Have you looked into Dynamo? I'm not the best at it, but there is a lot it can do once you get familiar with the API.
Here are roughly 200 classes on dynamo from Autodesk University ![]()

Some plugins/apps retain functionality even if all you do is move the version file folders from the old version to the new version. It depends on what the app does/calls versus the differences in product versions. It might be stable build, or it might crash your client, so save files before attempting.
Your Mileage May Vary.
I have 2024 and unfortunately, after install, it doesn't appear in Revit
