Projection lines overlap cut lines

When working on a structural roof plan, we link the Architect's Revit model and use a ceiling plan to get both the walls and roof.  Often times, the hidden line style we use for the cut walls will show up solid or we will get two separate cut lines in the same place but offset just enough to change the look of the line.  How can we isolate a single cut line without having to just modify the linework?

You might try using a Structural Framing Plan--and use an Underlay to show the Arch model's walls.

You can even "trace" the walls/roof with the linework tool, then turn off the Underlay. Linework will stay and update if changes are made.

Also be sure to set View Discipline to Structural.
