Project Information / Title Block Tag Labels

I am building a project template with a custom title block family. Within this title block, I am trying to create tag labels that are parametric depending on the project information set at the beginning of the project. That alone is not that difficult, but I'm trying to take it a step further.

I work for a company where all of my projects will either be located at one of two locations and within one of 5 buildings (2 at one, 3 at the other). Let's call the options 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, and 2C. Therefore, my Project Address will only ever be one of 2 options, and my Building Name will only ever be one of 5. I'm trying to make this template and title block as fool proof as possible. By this, I mean that I don't want myself or anyone else starting a project to need to remember the address or the proper spelling/name of the different buildings.

So here's my primary questions:

  1. Is there a way for me to make the Project Information parametric to where if the Building Name of the project is 1A, the Project Address would be automatically set to Address1?
  2. Is there a way for me to have 5 preset options for something like Building Name and 2 for Project Address?
  3. How do I set a tag label within a title block family to be updated automatically based on choosing these options? Like stated in question 1, can I make a tag displaying the Project Address update to Address2 if a the Building Name in the Project Information is set to 2B?

I am using Revit 2023, if it matters.

I don't think you can achieve exactly what you are looking for.

My only thought is using shared parameters for Project Name and Address in the titleblock family with various family types that can be selected by the user. These types would have preset parameter values for both parameters. However, these parameters do not interact with the OOTB Project Information parameters that are typically used on titleblocks.

This solution requires the user to select the appropriate titleblock at the beginning of the project. Not necessarily fool proof, but this does make me think of a quote I read on another forum..

"As far as idiot-proofing . . . master the craft, train the staff. There's no other way to solve ignorance."
