So I've just started a new project and switched to Revit 2024. The font size of my properties dialogue box is the way I'd like to view it in terms of font size. The Project Browser however always opens up with a font much much smaller. Sometimes I'm able to increase the size of the font by using my side scroll mouse button but it resets every single time I open a new session and I'm not always able to make it bigger. This leads me to think that it's not being controlled by the system settings. Any idea how to fix this issue?
I’m not sure you can do much to resolve this I use CTRL plus the mouse wheel to zoom in but it’s hardcoded as the text size in the UI is controlled by your resolution in Windows. If you go into Control Panel > Display you can adjust the size of the text, which will adjust it in Revit.
did you install all updates up to R2024.1.1?
SP 1 included zooming of the browsers and may help?
Do you have Windows monitor scale set to 100%?
for me (43" 4K monitors) the default font size is just fine.
I just set mine to too large (for me), closed Revit, and re-started it. Font size had defaulted back to original size. So, yes, the problem actually exists and makes the zoom feature useless if you have to do it every session. I forgot where the site is to report a bug. you could try the "ideas" forum... but IMHO this is more a bug than lack of a feature.
I think this iis what jay_colombe is referring to. but it will change EVERYTHING.
Note that Autodesk recommends using 100%. what's your monitor size and resolution?
There appears to be a lot of 2024 visually annoying issues at present, hopefully they will be ironed out soon.
I’m still adjusting the width of my Project Browser every time I open Revit on several different releases and different computers!
