Project Browser and Properties Frozen

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi,

My computer crashed earlier today and since i've started up Revit again my project browser and my properties have become frozen. I can maximize and minimize them but i cant move them anywhere or click on anything thats in them.

I've rebooted and also run a repair but no luck.

I've searched countless forums and cant seem to find anything relating to the problem and revit is unworkable without these 2 items working.

I'm running Design Suite 2014.

Any help is appriciated.

"Browser Organization" also worked in 2017.

Same issue, the browser froze after a crash due to a power outage.

Thanks!

This just worked in 2016!  Thanks for posting, it's times like this where I laugh out loud and smile when the easiest solution works!

Another solution that is circulating on line is to go to REGEDIT and this follow instructions from an on line video:
http://chronicle.autodesk.com/Main/Details/6069434e-3ed2-4a10-b182-a3d16eeb6292
And then re open Revit

Before you do all the needless regedit crap, try this.  Double click on any view or activate a view, any view, on a sheet.  This will unlock your browser.

Before you go through all the regedit crap, activate a view, any view on your sheet.  Double click or whatever you need to do to activate it.  This will unlock your browser.  It's a Revit glitch

The initial problem is the Project Browser won't respond, so you can't click or activate any additional views. Every time this has happened opening and closing "Options" fixes it.
