Project Browers / Properties

hi there,

I have messed up someting on my interface. I am in Revit Project and always have Project Browser and Properties panel to left and current sheet to right.

Now I can only see Browswer/ Properties one at a time.  I have tried looking User Interface options and Cascade/ Tile but nothing seems to work.

No matter what file i open the Revit seems now to open in this new view which i cannot work with.

Is there a way to change back to usual (perhaps defaults??) settings?

Would be much appreciated if anyone can help as it is really bugging me.

Thanks !

You just need to drag them around to where you want them.

If you doc one directly on top of the other you will get tabs for properties / project brower.  You can pull these apart again by dragging the tabs away from each other.

If you want them docked one above the other separate them first then dock one at the side and then drag the other to sit mid way along the bottom of the first...  might take a little trial and error but you should get there.

I'm sure someone did a screencast of this a while back so maybe worth a quick search on here.

Sounds like Properties Palette and Project Browser have been "tabbed" You can pull off a "tab" and float the elements or bring them back together and dock the window. This help topic my help you get it straightened out.

When you say 'missing' do you mean from your quick access toolbar?  If so check the little arrow on the end and check if undo and redo are checked.
