PROBLEMA DE DUPLICIDAD EN TEXTOS (PROBLEMS WITH TEXTS THAT DOUBLE)

Hola a todos,

Estoy desarrollando unos planos estructurales y estoy teniendo un problemas con los textos, se están duplicando, hasta triplicando uno encima de otro, cambian su tamaño y se salen de la hoja de planos.

Sólo yo estoy trabajando en el archivo en Revit 2020, también había sucedido con el Revit 2018, pero no tan evidente y problemático como con el 2020, ya que los corrijo hoy y mañana están nuevamente duplicados.

Agradezco cualquier ayuda que me puedan dar para solucionar este problema.

I am developing some structural plans and I am having a problem with the texts, they are duplicating, even tripling one on top of the other, changing their size and leaving the plan sheet.

Only I am working on the archive in Revit 2020, it had also happened with Revit 2018, but not as obvious and problematic as with 2020, since I correct them today and tomorrow they are again duplicated.

I appreciate any help you can give me to solve this problem.

Hi, @Anonymous, have you check the views to see where those texts are coming from? Or don't they show in the views?

Yes, the texts come from the same views where they are, they simply duplicate or triple in the same place or as shown in the image that I attached, upwards. I don't know what to do because one day I correct them and the next day the same thing happens again and they even change in size.

Can you share the file with both the views and sheet you posted as your
example?

About the multiplication of the text I wonder what kind of text is that
(labels/tags) or plain text; was it created directly in the file or is it
from any loadable family?

About the size issue, have you checked if isn't it related with view
drawing scale changes?

Answering your questions in order:

I can't share the file because it's from a client.

It is normal plain text, copied from a template file.

The scale of the drawing has not been changed since it was made.

All this is so strange because it is a normal text, the only thing is that the file is in the cloud to start working with several people, but so far only I have manipulated it.
I have opened it on different computers, but I don't think that's the problem. Could this happen when you open it on a computer other than mine?

It never happened to me. To understand, how did you copy the text? Used Ctrl c + Ctrl v or other method? Which coping method you used?

To fix it, can you select the text and delete the repeated ones? And also fix the size issue. Try doing this and monitor to see if it happens again.

Can't you strip the file of your client information and delete most of the elements just leaving the ones that are needed for us to check your issue?

Hi,

The method I use for copying is the normal Ctrl + c and I have already corrected the problem twice by deleting the duplicates and resizing the letters and the next day the same happens.
I'm going to detach the file and try to send it to you to see if you find anything.

I recently had this problem as well, I'm not sure if it's the same issue but I thought I'd comment just in case. 

The cause of my issues were my 'Select All' shortcut 'SA' was set to select all instances in the entire project rather than visible in view. I copied some text notes from one detail to another and duplicated all the text in my project multiple times.

If at first I thought that and I corrected them, but the next day when I opened the file again the texts were duplicated / tripled and placed away from the drawing.
