problem with zoom

hi gentlement

i cant zoom into my model further and i guess this box thing is the issue? how can i rectify it ? i am a beginner user with revit architecture though

I do not which zoom function you used?

One of the other zoom tools (e.g. zoom in region) should allow you to zoom in further Also the mouse wheel is normally used for zooming in/out.

You should be able to zoom in to (very) small details of your project.

Hi enllnt. I click the home button (house icon above the cube) but it does not zoom in closer into the model. I still can zoom in using my mouse and other zoom tools. But this problem affects my still image rendering, and solar study rendering. I deduce that it is due to this blue box. The model above comprises of 3 linked model. i ve checked if anything is hidden and thus affecting the 3d zoom but it turns out nothing.

i realised one of my link files has this issue

Correct. If you use the home button than it will take the extents of the model. The blue box is part of it so it is zoomed out till that extent.

To limit your view you can use "crop view" and/or (in 3d) a "Section box".

(Your linked file probably has a large "crop view" active.)
