problem with wrapping finishing layers of a wall

i have these 2 walls with a curtain wall in middle i creating parts of the 2 walls to control the finishing layers so i can change the height of them in exterior view but while doing that the wrapping finishing layers disappear is there any solution for this? there are attached screenshot i hope can help understand the problem.

lets see if I understand.

1. You created a "multi-layer" wall. (one element with structure and finishes) and the wrapping when you put a window is okey.

2. You created 3 walls separated and then joined them and here is the problem with the wrapping.

is ok my interpretation?

Ok. I have the same "problem". 

As you, I think is a better idea modelling separate walls, but the problem is when you add a door or a window.

Revit will not resolve by itself cause is no the way that revit uses to make a multiple layer wall.

There are some things that you can do:

1. Get an average, of the total material used. If I had 10 cubic meters of this materials and I have 10 windows, ok I will use a 10% more of that material. (easy not precise)

2. Use a model in place, an extrusion with restrictions so if the window modify it fits. (You cuantity the material or volume)
and join the geometry so you dont computate the wall material twice.*

*I recomed this, you have to work a bit morre but it works on computation and visibility.

3. You add a parameter in the family that calculates the perimeter and volume of that finishes, (you don´t model, you only have the information)
