Problem with visibility of imported DWG in Generic Annotation family

Hello everyone,

I'm working on a Generic Annotation family in Revit, such as a level. Within this family, I imported a DWG file (from AutoCAD) as a graphic reference (since I can't make small lines smaller than 0.5 in Revit), as I needed to represent some very small details that Revit wouldn't allow me to draw directly due to scale limitations.

The problem is that, when I insert this family into the project, the DWG visually overlaps other lines or native annotation elements. I've already tried adjusting the Draw Order, but it seems that 2D annotations always appear above the modeled geometry, and I can't figure out how to properly control this.

Things I've already tried:

I checked the DWG layers from VG > Imported Categories.

I tried moving the DWG to the back of the family.

I redrew some lines as native Revit symbolic lines.

I checked the scale in AutoCAD before importing (it's 1:1).

Has anyone had a similar issue? Is there a way to control the visibility or display priority of the imported DWG within an annotation family?

I've attached an image to illustrate the issue (the gray part of the DWG overlaps other lines).

Thanks in advance!

@ih_arquitectura23 Thank you for reaching out on forum.
Currently, I am checking with our developers on the default behavior of the annotation family in Revit. I will be back soon with more information.

Hello @ih_arquitectura23, this is a known behavior of Revit and we have an existing internal ticket logged with developers in our system. You could keep this ticket number REVIT-187328 for your reference. Due to Autodesk policies in regards to internal tickets, I cannot provide a timeline for when this ticket will be addressed or released into a future update or version of Revit. However, you can check in the release notes when new versions are available to see if your ticket number was fixed in that release. Thank you!
