Problem with radius parameter in void blend extrusion polar array

Hi there!
I'm having a hard time trying to figure out why this isn't working as it's supposed to.

I am trying to make a polar array void family to nest in another structural family. As I tried already different ways of inserting this voids together to my host family (separated and array them there, array them in the foundation family, etc..), it seems that what is working best is to put the void family into the main one (where I'm hosting all the other element families like bolts family e.g.  to create an equipment foundation structure family) so the voids cut the geometry correctly.
My problem now is that the simple task of adding an array length parameter is not working. If I modify it manually inside the void family it works fine, but when I apply a parameter and then try to change it, it crashes. I don't know if it's something with blend extrusions, because I tested with a simple extrusion and the parameter works (although just a simple extrusion here won't provide what I need).

I don't know if I was able to explain it correctly. I hope someone's able to crack this mystery! 😛

You have built a face base void family that cut thru object. Add the distance offset in that void family. That way you can lock the radius from family. If you do it with regular array with changing radius, it will always break. See attached for solution.

Thank you very much! That worked really well!
Sometimes I try so many different things and get so deep into that matter that I can't see a different way of doing it..

I'm already complicating things a bit more here but I guess it's better to open a new separate post for that! 😄
