Problem with import of CSV.file to make topo

Hei.

 

I am having a problem to import CSV.file to make a toposurface of it.

Have tried some of the suggestions on the forum but nothing seems to work out for me.

for example dot to comma

What can i try?

You possible need to review the file as there are semicolons and Numbers as Text

How are you creating the CSV?

Do not know why you get it as there, but mine is like this.

Have used both dot and comma

I opened a Blank Excel Sheet, Data Tab> From Text/CSV > Semicolon  Saved it out and deleted the header row

Looking down the list some of these number do not look right but is allowed me to import it into Revit but killed my Laptop and hung which i was expecting due to the variations in values in the columns but it did come in eventually

There is definitely something not right as i cannot repeat your images with that file and you can not follow my process.

 

Here is the file i can create a Topo with (this was generated from your file as above)

Had to manually make the x,y,z cordination in one coloumn on several rows and replace ";" with ",".

Worked fine with a new file.
