Problem with floor finish orientation.

I have a problem with my wood floor finishes in my project. You will also see in the screencast.

I use 1 floor type, called laminate floor finish (10mm thick). I added one on the 1st floor, and one on the second floor. It turns out the orientation of the floor texture rotates at the different levels.

My guess is that this problem has to do with the project north and the true north. It seems like the texture on te 1st floor uses the ''true north'' as a reference, and that the texture on the 2nd floor uses the ''project north'' as a orientation point.

The only way i know how to fix this at the moment is to make 2 different types of finish floors, at which i change the rotation angle for the first floor. But maybe this problem is easy to solve?

Thanks in advance,

Not sure why is different every time, but there is an easy fix. You need to hace a hatch pattern applied to the material, the hacth pattern needs to align with the image within the material and then just select one line in the patern and rotate or align as required. I'll upload a video showing the process.

Thanks a lot Angelica. When you add a ''model'' patern to the surface it alligns automaticaly properly. Got it right this time.
