Problem with curtain panels joining differently

Hi!

Can anyone help me solve the problem below, would be appreciated!

1. We're having an issue where panels are joining differently.
No hidden curtain lines and same panels. One joining in the middle of the mullion (wooden column) and the ones below on each side.
What can be the problem and how do I solve it?

2. How would you create the black joints where glasses meet? (want to have it visible in our VR model)

Thanks in advance!

True. Here's a Revit file (2017) where I inserted the facade with problems:

Thanks for wanting to help out!

I prefer not to download from this site. Can you upload the file as an attachment instead?

Oh my bad, didn't find that option before. Here it is as an attachment.
Also, do you know a way to create the black joints between the glasses? Would be neat.

The reason it's not joining properly is because there are 2 panels which aren't panels, but curtain walls.

As for the black joint: create a mullion type to look like a joint. Problem is, you'll only be able to place these where there isn't already a mullion.

And since you can't add 2 materials to amullion, adding this to the existing mullions isn't an option either.

Hi! Thanks for the help. How would you solve the problem? I can't find a way to change those inserted curtain walls into panels instead.

best would be to have a mullion thats both a beam (behind glass) and a black joint. But I guess that this isn't possible?
Maybe I need to create a black mullion as you say and create separate beams behind them, aligned and locked so that they follow changes.

To change the "inserted" curtain walls, simply select them and choose a different panel from the type selector.

The brown curtain mullions are representing beams and columns? Then yes, you should model them as beams and columns. That way you can place the "joint" mullions as needed.
