Problem with creating a riser

I'm working in Revit 2020 trying to create a stair. I'm using the riser tool, but when I click a line to create riser number 8 it doesn't recognize the riser. What can I do to make it recognize the riser?

Can you give more info on what you're trying to do?  Normally, you don't have to add risers - you just draw the run.  If your starting height and top height are correct then Revit will do the rest.  If you're trying to make a stair that cannot be made using standard tool, can you provide an image that shows what you're trying to do?

I'm trying to draw a stair shaped like this and the problem occurs when I'm trying to draw a riser after the first landing

You don't need to manually add risers.  Just draw the runs.  Revit will fill in the landings automaticaly.  Check the base level, Top level and check the desired Stair Height.  Make sure that the limits set in for max riser height allows for the stair to be created.

Hover your mouse over each riser, one of the risers says boundary, not riser. Once you change that one stair the counting of risers continues.

Make sure riser command is selected eveytime you are drawing risers. Because if you click to something else it might reset the selection to boundry.
