Problem with Array and angle parameter in Family

Hello everybody. I have a problem with the array. When I base a generic model on a reference line (file A) there isn't any problem but when I specific an angle parameter to the reference line and array the generic model then change the angle parameter the generic models in the array aren't rotating with the reference line. Now I want to know the way that I can rotate generic models in the array with the reference line.

Make the arrayed extrusion a nested family. Load that into the new family and then rotate it there.

Thank's for your replying but I have to use the array and another generic model in just one family because I want to use the generic models in the array as void forms.

So are you saying the arrayed voids need to rotate independently from what they need to cut?

I want to create a door with an angle parameter and I want to cut some parts of the door panel with voids but when I rotate the door panel with the angle parameter I made it before, the voids doesn't rotating with the door panel.

Make the door and the arrayed voids in one family and then nest that into the host family and rotate it in there.

@Mike.FORM is right. Build the Solid with the Void Geometry (attached) into one, stand-alone Door Panel Family, check Work Plane Based, uncheck Always Vertical -- and then nest this Door Panel Family into the Family that Rotates the Panel.  Host the Door Panel Family to the Ref. Line Work Plane. I don't know why you need to Array. What's that all about?

I want to use the array to make a parameter for adapting the number of voids with the width of the door panel.

Still, I don't understand the point of the second family - the one this door is nested into.  Is that family supposed to be the "teeth" that fit into those notches?  If so, then the Arrays with be identically built.

Oh very very thank You my freind. That Problem was solved.Not exactly.I want to build a Door with LOD 400 and this a part of that.When the door creating finish I will share it on this topic.

@barthbradley you forgot the -6cm for the width of one of the voids in your formulas so that your spacing is being divided between start of first void and start of last void. Easy miss 'width' the quick mockup lol.

 

Actual Spacing = (With - 6cm - (2 * Offset from Origin))/ Array Number

Array Number = (With - 6cm - (2 * Offset from Origin))/ Desired Spacing
