Erase the dimensions. Or keep them where you need them. If you want Level 1 to stay at 0 erase the dimension to that,

I'm not sure I understand. You can lock levels in relationship to each other, but the level elevations themselves are relational to the Project Base Point or Survey Point. Are you meaning that you want to "LOCK" Level 1 to the PBB or SP? You can pull a dimension between a Level and a PBB, but Revit won't let you to lock it. But you can PIN the Level.

@barthbradley trying only o undrestand how thinks Revit.

Know that if I unlock a dimension the program run cortrectly.

But if I lock every level and put a total dimension that are not the sum of the three parts don't undrestand how get up the first level and all the lock relative dimension.

PS. survey point is origin point? reference point?

PBB and SP what are?

Thank's

Another example:

have level 1 in 0 m and lock diension between levels 1 and 2.

If change dimension between level 2 and 3 do not go up but put level 1 at - 0.4. (?!?!?!??)

I restanlish situation put 0 another time at level 1 but don't undr whygo down to level 1.

If you want lock dimension between 1 and 2, then select 2 to change
dimension between 2 and 3 then 2 and 1 will move. You need to select 3
instead of 2 because whatever you select will move.

@torrenti if you have an immovable object and you push against it with all your might, how far will you be able to move that immovable object? It won't move at all.

You have locked the dimension between 2 and 3, and then changed the dimension from 1 to 2 to a greater value than it presently shows. What direction can 1 possibly go if 2 is immovable? 1 can only move in the opposite direction. If you were to pull a dimension from 3 to 1 and lock it, then PIN 1 and change its dimension, then 2 and 3 would move up together; and 1 would stay right where it's at.

What???

@barthbradley I write two examples.

Not undrestand what are you referring to. One of this?

For first:

"You have locked the dimension between 2 and 3" ==> I locked evry dimension beteen level and then try to change upper level quote

"and then changed the dimension from 1 to 2 to a greater value than it presently shows." ==> no

"What direction can 1 possibly go if 2 is immovable? 1 can only move in the opposite direction." referring to what @ToanDN say before, that have to select level opposite of where want to go my level?

If you were to pull a dimension from 3 to 1 and lock it, then PIN 1 and change its dimension, then 2 and 3 would move up together; and 1 would stay right where it's at.

For second:

"You have locked the dimension between 2 and 3" ==> no lock between 1 and 2

"and then changed the dimension from 1 to 2 to a greater value than it presently shows." ==> I change between 2 and 3.

Do not undrestand. But undrestand that if want that my level go to a side have to click on the opposite level I want the level want to go and than change dimension.

@torrenti

Basically what you select and whatever constrained to it will move.
