(Problem)Baluster Ending Cut on Stairs

I made a couple of custom balusters using baluster profile family template. I attached the top part of the extrusions on to the Railing Top Plane as it was in the template. Still the part where it is attached to the top rail has not been cut. Im posting pictures below to describe it. Has anyone any idea how to fix it? I tried to look for it in the forum aswell but the problem is a little bit hard to describe i couldnt find how to search for it appologies if it was solved before.

This is the way Revit does railings in general. In most cases we choose to have the balusters a little bit longer so they are buried into the railing. I think that the baluster in your screenshot is somewhat misaligned with the railing.

It has to be cut by the angled reference plane in the family.  You can just open an Ootb baluster and see how it is built.  Also, make sure to untick Post box from type properties in the family.
